The Boat Smartwatch Review

The Boat is now not a new player in the smartwatch segment and has launched numerous watches in the past. We have seen and reviewed multiple watches and to be honest, the experience was not that good. The company had released touch screens with no buttons but an overall response of the devices was not up to the mark. According to some reviews, battery timing was also poor.

Overview

The Boat Smartwatch is a new fitness tracker that tracks your wrist movements while you row, ski, or power-walk. It has a durable strap and touch pad, so it’s water resistant and easy to use. The battery lasts for four to six weeks on one charge. And because it syncs with Apple HealthKit, it can detect calories burned and distance traveled.

Display

The watch has an E Ink display that is perfect for outdoor use. It isn’t as clear as a traditional LCD screen, but it is extremely easy to read in the sunlight and doesn’t require much power at all.

Fitness Tracker

The Boat Smartwatch can be used by boaters to monitor their heart rate, the quality of their sleep, how many times they stand in a day. It also includes an SOS button so you can get help if you need it. This watch is waterproof up to 50 meters and has GPS tracking so you can find your boat if it sinks or gets stolen.

Connectivity

The Boat Smartwatch can connect to WiFi, Bluetooth, and any GPS device. The watch also has the capability to store up to 1GB of data on an internal memory card. Aside from having a long battery life, it is waterproof up to 100 meters deep.
